Angels Around the World

Sarah Mallery is a local resident and quilt artist who creates one-of-a-kind ethnic folk art angels. She also offers custom quilting, and quilting lessons at Joann Fabrics and Q is for Quilts in Burbank, California.

Her hand-crafted angels are uniquely designed with ethnic costumes, corn husk wings and jute hanging ties. The dolls make lovely gifts or decorations.

A member of the Valley Quilt Guild, Surface Design Association, and American Craft Council, Sarah can create everything from traditional quilts to modern art wall hangings using clients' own memory-filled clothing. Click on the logo to visit her website.

Barbara Chingren has been crafting for 20 years. She became interested in needlepoint and sewing as a child, and has been doing craftwork ever since. Among her creations are charming bears, bunnies and dolls. Her creations make wonderful holiday or birthday gifts. Look for more of Barbara's crafts at local craft fairs.
