Ceramics artist Kristine Soleri traveled the world with various ballet companies during her 20-year career in dance. She and her husband settled in Los Angeles to start a family. In searching for another medium of expression, Kristine's hands landed in clay and have danced there ever since.

Ms. Soleri can be found at various local arts and crafts shows. Beauty and function are combined in her work. She has created whimsical dishes, unique accessories for the kitchen and bath, as well as practical mugs and plates.

Ms. Soleri currently works from her home studio. She also studies ceramics at the Roger Barkley Community Center in La Canada Flintridge. She can be reached by phone at 818-787-2711.
Ceramic Art Space, now located at 6020 Woodman Ave. in Valley Glen, is a ceramic painting studio that carries plastercraft, greenware and bisque items. Walk-in painters are welcome. Ceramic supplies are sold and kiln firing is offered. Stop by Tue. - Sat., 10:30aa-5pm or Sunday 11am-4pm. Roger Barkley Community Center
The ceramics department hosts annual sales. Located at 4469 Chevy Chase Drive in La Canada Flintridge, the center exhibit works from over 50 artists. For additional information, phone 790-4353.


Los Angeles Pottery Show
